The heat has temporarily vanished - right now it's overcast and about 20 degrees Celsius. It just had to happen exactly on the weekend, when you want to go to a proper lake!
I received a paper letter from asena, written in reply to mine. It turns out, asena is actually named Asyona!
There's a lot of other interesting stuff in there too, but personal correspondence will remain a secret :-)
I'll just write in reply that I also remember a lot of not particularly useful nonsense. For instance, I know exactly what an endless number of computer-related acronyms stand for, like ICANN, GNU, TCP/IP, KDE, IEEE, ODBC, IDE, ATAPI, ISO/OSI, UCS, UTF, and on to infinity.
But the necessary and important stuff I often don't remember. So we are of one blood, you and I.
